“STORYTELLING” with Andrew Wright

Poznan , 17-18 th March 2007    

“Stories are the sap in the tree”. Andrew Wright has been a member of the professional Society for Storytelling for twelve years and he has been employed as a storyteller in twenty countries (most recently in Serbia and Malaysia ) and he estimates with 50,000 students and teachers of all ages and language abilities. He has been an author and illustrator for many years.  

- The craft of telling stories.
(Helping the teacher and students to choose, prepare and tell stories and indeed to speak more engagingly and effectively.)

- Being creative in the classroom.
(Going through lots of activities designed to show you that just below your survival surface is a seething mass of creativity waiting to breathe and leave)

- Simple drawings and materials preparation.
(It's a pleasure to help people to realize that they can draw much, much better than they ever thought possible.)

- Creating and adapting games
(In this session we will work through a lot of games and look at some simple principles for making games)
