IATEFL Poland aims to be the leading organisation representing English teaching professionals within the country, offering a range of services and publications which serve to support and maintain the development of its members within the EFL world.
Welcome to the 19th IATEFL Poland Conference in Bydgoszcz. The annual conference is best known for its friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where foreign language teachers from Poland and abroad are able to network, discuss and socialise. You can enjoy more than 100 sessions, Exhibitors’ Happy Hour, afternoon and evening events and a lot more!

Changes made to the programme during the conference will be displayed on the notice board at the Conference Centre and on the Conference website www.iatefl.org.pl.
Speaker’s Corner – if you want to express your opinions or comments about the presentation and add something you could not do during the session due to shortage of time, come to the Speaker’s Corner located in the Foyer of the conference centre.
The colour of the name badges should enable you to identify people who can help you during the conference. The system is as follows:

You are kindly requested to wear your badge during the conference all the time. Your badge warrants you access to all events during the conference.
Your registration entitles you to an access to all plenary sessions, talks, workshops, panel discussions and events in the social programme. Access to sessions and social events is strictly by badge.

Pre-ordered certificates are given to delegates on arrival at the Registration Desk. If you need a Certificate of Attendance and have not ordered one, please leave your name at the Registration Desk (or Conference Office), and it will be sent to you after the conference.
Message boards will be located in the Conference Centre. You are welcome to leave messages for other conference participants.
Please visit and revisit stands of leading publishers, shake hands with authors whose names you know from coursebook covers. The exhibitors have prepared a lot of attractions including quizzes, puzzles and hot news with splendid prizes, especially during Happy Hour on Saturday from 14.00.

There is a monitor in each room. Please remember that arriving too late may exclude you from the participation in the sessions.
Dear speakers - please start and finish on time; the monitors are there to help you with time-keeping. We would also like to remind you that the time allotted to your presentation includes questions and must not be extended.
The organisers cannot provide any photocopying facilities. However, there is a paid photocopying service in the hall of the Conference Centre. It will stay open for the duration of the conference.
The Internet Cafe will be available throughout the opening times of the conference.
Tea and coffee will be served in the conference hall during the breaks in a few places. Look for special signs.
Those of you staying at the hotels can get breakfast there. Lunch tickets as well as tickets to the Evening Entertainment Event on Saturday are only available to participants who paid in advance.
Conference participants who did not pay for meals are welcome to visit the bars on the campus.
It will take place on Sunday 19 September at the Closing Ceremony. Every person who has completed and handed in the Conference Feedback form included in the Conference Programme and is present at the prize draw, can win one of the great prizes provided by our sponsors.
