Dear Colleagues - IATEFL Poland Members,
‘Time and tide wait for no man’ and, as I am writing this, we are already approaching the end of the year, the year which, as usual, has been full of action in our SIGs and Regions, and whose highlight was the 23rd IATEFL Poland Conference, held at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin in September, and attended by almost eight hundred participants. We hope that the year to come, 2015, will bring us an equal amount, or even more exciting events nationwide, attracting hundreds of teachers and students of English who look for guidance and assistance, whilst pursuing their careers in teaching at various levels of the Polish education system. IATEFL Poland is committed to actively raising the quality of teaching English and encouraging every English teacher to achieve their full potential.

Dear Lublin Conference Participants,
Once again, let me express my thanks to all of you for coming to Lublin to attend the 23rd IATEFL Poland Conference. It was a real pleasure to host you here. I hope you have fond memories of the event and our beautiful city. On the last day I was approached by some of you who have not paid their membership fee for next year but still wanted to join IATEFL Poland as members. Please remember that our special offer for this year’s Conference Participants is still valid.
On behalf of IATEFL Poland we invite publishers, examination boards, language schools and other organisations concerned with teaching English in Poland to become Associate Members of our Association. We would like to work out together a model of cooperation that would be beneficial to all.
We invite all prospective associate members to a meeting that will be held in Lublin, during the 23rd Annual Conference on Saturday in the lunch break (the exact time and room will be announced in the conference programme). We are looking forward to seeing you in Lublin.
Lublin impresses visitors with its tranquility, colour, youth and hospitality.
